What we do

We have three key areas of focus for our work. As we're a volunteer community group, we know we don't have limitless time to spend on projects so we're really clear where we're going to focus. These areas are:

  • We raise awareness of the climate and nature emergency in the Sevenoaks town and district through events, conversations, and storytelling that cut through the noise.

  • We connect people and groups who share a commitment to a healthier, more sustainable local area, because good things happen faster when we work together rather than in isolation.

  • We support and grow practical projects that reduce carbon emissions, restore nature, and strengthen our community's ability to thrive in a changing world.

We do this by channelling the diverse skills we have in our community such as science and storytelling, activism and pragmatism, local knowledge and fresh thinking, because tackling the climate crisis needs all of us.
